Telehealth/Telemedicine is the distribution of health-related services and information via electronic information and telecommunication technologies. It allows long-distance patient and clinician contact, care, advice, reminders, education, intervention, monitoring, and remote admissions.
Gulf Coast Behavioral Clinic is now offering in person and Telemed visits (One in-person office visit is required for new patients). Billing for your Telemed visit will be the same as an in person office visit, and you will be responsible for any copays, portion of your deductible or coinsurance based on your personal benefit.
Example: If you pay a $25 copay when you come to the office for a follow up visit, then you will be responsible for your $25 copay for a Telemed visit.
